Istanbul (Dot Wheelz) The share of electric and hybrid cars in the Turkish automobile market is growing.
According to the Automobile Distributors Association (ODD), sales of hybrid cars in the Turkish automobile market reached 49,493 last year, while sales of electric cars were recorded at 2,846.
Last year, sales of electric cars in Turkey increased by 237.2% and sales of hybrid cars increased by 105.1% over the previous year.
The share of electric cars in total sales increased from 0.1% to 0.5% and the share of hybrid cars increased from 4% to 8.8%.
The share of “green cars” in the Turkish automobile market is expected to reach higher levels with future developments in the world.
